The short version: GoACPros doesn’t collect your personal information through forms, doesn’t create user accounts, and doesn’t ask for your email. We use analytics to understand how people use the site. When you call, the call goes through our network partner, who may record it. That’s the full picture. The details are below.
Who we are
GoACPros is a national service-connection platform operated from Austin, Texas. We help homeowners connect with local AC contractors by phone. We are not an HVAC contractor. We don’t perform AC repairs, set pricing, or schedule service visits.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@goacpros.com.
What we collect and what we don’t
What we DON’T collect
- No forms. There are no contact forms, quote request forms, or lead capture forms on this site.
- No email addresses. We don’t ask for your email and don’t send marketing emails.
- No user accounts. There’s no login, no registration, no profile.
- No names, phone numbers, or addresses. We don’t collect personally identifiable information through this website.
What we DO collect
Analytics data through Google Analytics (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity. When you visit this site, these tools collect:
- Pages visited, time spent on each page, and how you arrived (search engine, direct visit, referral link)
- Session recordings (Clarity: anonymous replays of how you interact with the site, including mouse movements, clicks, and scrolls)
- Device information (browser type, operating system, screen size)
- General geographic location (city/region level, not your address)
- Cookies to identify returning visitors (anonymized)
This data helps us understand how people use the site so we can make it more useful. Neither tool collects your name, email, phone number, or any information you type into forms (because there are no forms). IP anonymization is enabled in Google Analytics.
For details on how each tool handles data, see our Cookie Policy, Google’s Privacy Policy, and Microsoft Clarity’s Terms of Service.
Phone calls and call recording
When you call the number displayed on this site, your call is routed through our network partner to a local contractor. Here’s exactly what happens with your information during and after the call:
- The contractor sees your phone number. Your caller ID is passed through to the contractor, just like any normal phone call. This allows them to call you back if the call drops, if they need to follow up after seeing your AC, or if they want to schedule a visit. We cannot control what the contractor does with your phone number after the call.
- Your call may be recorded. Our network partner may record calls for quality assurance and to verify call validity for billing purposes. You’ll hear a short notice about this at the start of the call.
- Our network partner stores call data. Our network partner retains call records (including your phone number and call duration) for as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, and billing purposes. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
- We may not be the only ones who benefit from your call data. Our network partner’s privacy policy states that personal information may be shared with third parties for “lawful purposes” including service fulfillment, analytics, and ad-tech partners. Some state privacy laws classify certain types of data sharing as a “sale.” We cannot make an absolute “your data is never sold” claim because we do not control our network partner’s data practices after your call is routed.
What GoACPros does and does not do with your call:
- GoACPros does not operate the call-recording or call-routing system. Those systems are operated by our network partner.
- GoACPros may receive call-level reporting from our network partner for campaign administration, quality, compliance, dispute review, and payment. Depending on the partner dashboard, API, and final agreement, that reporting may include call metadata, a masked caller number, a full caller number, or access to a call recording.
- GoACPros does not sell your phone number to unrelated contractors, lead aggregators, or data brokers.
- GoACPros does not use call data to send unrelated marketing calls, texts, or emails.
The contractor you speak with is an independent service provider. Their data practices, including what they do with your phone number, are their own responsibility and are not controlled by GoACPros.
How we use your data
The analytics data collected through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Clarity is used to:
- Understand which parts of the site are most useful to visitors
- Identify and fix usability problems
- Improve the site’s content and layout
- Measure how well the site serves homeowners
GoACPros does not sell your analytics data. We do not share your browsing data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your analytics data for targeted advertising.
Your phone call is separate from your website visit. When you call, the call is routed through our network partner’s system. The network partner and contractor govern the primary handling of call data, while GoACPros may receive reporting or review access made available under the partner dashboard, API, or agreement. We are honest about this distinction because we believe you deserve to know where your information may go.
Cookies
This site uses cookies from Microsoft Clarity for analytics purposes. These cookies identify returning visitors using anonymized identifiers. They do not contain your name, email, or any personally identifiable information.

- Microsoft Clarity (session recording, heatmaps, scroll and click analytics)
- Our network partner (call routing and potential call recording)

All analytics tools are managed through Google Tag Manager and only fire after you accept cookies via the consent banner. We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, or data brokers.
