The short version: GoACPros is free for you. We make money when your call connects through our network partner and the conversation is long enough to be useful. That’s the whole business model.
How GoACPros makes money
GoACPros earns a fee when your phone call connects with a local AC contractor through our network partner. The call must meet certain quality and duration thresholds before we earn anything. Short calls, dropped calls, and wrong numbers don’t count.
You are never charged by GoACPros. The service is free for homeowners.
How this affects what you see
Our revenue comes from phone calls, not from selling your data, not from advertising, and not from charging you. This means:
- We want the call to actually help you. A call that helps you lasts longer and is more likely to meet the quality threshold. That’s why the site gives you talking points and preparation before you call. It’s not just for your benefit. It’s also for ours.
- Contractor availability depends on our network partner’s coverage. Which contractors are available in your area is determined by our network partner’s service area, not by GoACPros. We don’t choose which contractor answers your call.
- We don’t control contractor pricing. The contractor you reach sets their own pricing based on what they find when they see your AC. Our revenue comes from the call connection, not from what the contractor charges you.
- The contractor sees your phone number. Your caller ID passes through to the contractor like any normal phone call. We can’t control what the contractor does with your number after the call. We’re telling you this because we believe you should know before you dial, not after.
What GoACPros is not
GoACPros is not an HVAC contractor, not a contractor referral service that vets or endorses specific contractors, and not an advertising platform for contractors. We are a service-connection platform that helps homeowners prepare for and initiate a phone call with a local AC professional.
AC Hub articles
The articles on this site are written to help homeowners understand their AC problems. They are not sponsored content. They are not written by contractors. They are not paid placements. The articles exist because a well-informed caller has a better conversation, and a better conversation is more likely to last long enough to qualify as a useful connection.
Future disclosures
If GoACPros ever adds display advertising (such as Google AdSense), affiliate links, or sponsored content, this page will be updated to reflect those relationships. As of the date above, none of those exist on this site.
